This attractively variegated form of the pestilential weed, ground elder will spread with almost the same enthusiasm. Its handsome cream and green leaves brighten dull corners in shade, i.e. restricted at the base of a N. or E. facing wall, in any soil. Contained in a pot it makes an attractive feature. Cut back after flowering for a tidier display in the autumn.
