A choice shade-loving, tuberous perennial, enjoying a good humus-rich soil and dappled shade. In late spring, a pseudostem arises, from within emerges and unfurls a remarkable, sweetly scented candy-pink and white (occasionally pure white) curved spathe. Our stocks seems to be a more consistent white colour. Followed by a large trifoliate leaf, with interesting venation. Tucked down deep within the spathe, a spadix is loaded with male or female flowers, insignificant on their own, but intriguing en-masse.
Potted tubers are sent from June-Oct onwards (once rooted), each pot containing one flowering size tuber (occasionally two smaller).
