Commonly known as black garlic, oddly so, as it has white flowers (each flower has a black ovary). Produces heads of starry white flowers each with a darker green eye. A useful early summer flowering bulb for a sunny spot. Bulbs tend to produce prodigious amounts of offsets which are almost impossible to weed out so be sure you plant it in the right place from the outset.
Potted bulbs are sent from November onwards (once rooted), each pot containing one large flowering size bulb.
