Heuchera villosa 'Palace Purple'

Overlapping heart-shaped leaves with irregularly cut edges are dark bronze-red on the surface, light magenta-pink on reverse. Faint puckering between the veins accentuates the glistening texture. The flowers are equally beguiling. Masses of dark wiry stems carry feathery heads of tiny white flowers which expand into rosy-bronze seed pods, all stages to be seen for months, from summer to autumn.
