An excellent, small, deciduous tree, currently growing in our Gravel Garden. Attractive all year round, with delicate pinnate foliage, which in autumn turns a golden yellow. In summer the tree is covered with panicles of yellow flowers, standing proud above the canopy. These are followed by colourful (cream to red) bladder-like fruits, each containing a couple of polished black, rounded seeds. Excellent for gardens, street plantings, especially in sunny locations. With hotter climates this has great potential to be grown throughout urban UK.
