We are unsure of the name but having grown this for several years we are finally introducing it as a reliable damp loving plant. Large horse chestnut shaped leaves occasionally produce a spike of creamy-white flowers, which then transform to a zingy pinky-red. Probably a form of R. aesculifolia. An excellent foliage plant. The name derives after a town near Grafin von Zeppelin nursery, Germany, where Beth had strong links with the then owner, Helen von Stein.
