Antennaria

From our experience mountain everlasting make flat-spreading mats of silvery-grey foliage. Good edging plants for rock gardens, troughs or paving. Flowering in spring, with male and female flowers on separate plants (dioecious). Mostly originating from North America.

The compact heads of tiny flowers are pollinated by small insects from beetles to flies and are known to be a nectar source for the adults of several species of microlepidoptera.
