Asphodeline liburnica

Slender willowy stems clothed in needle-like grey-green leaves carry spires of six-petalled star-shaped flowers each marked with a central green vein. Not open till mid-afternoon so unspoilt by midday heat. Tends to flower a little later than Asphodeline lutea.
