Much divided leaves, chocolate-bronze when young, slowly changing to a very dark green. Setting off the triangular sprays of pale pink, fluffy flowers. They last for weeks, imperceptibly deepening to chestnut and finally reddish-brown seed heads. Most welcome in the autumn border.
