Collected in Kashmir, but named by the Beth Chatto Gardens 'Mrs Crawford' after a friend of Beth's. Mrs Crawford was a member of the Frinton-on-Sea flower arranging club. Neat rosettes of medium-sized leaves, very good autumn colour, rich plum and crimson tones. Narrow heads of white flowers in green calyces in spring.
