We take great care to produce your peat free plants. Propagation and growing on is carried out by our team who will only part with plants once they are strong and well rooted.

Brunnera

There are only three different species of brunnerawith most garden worthy plants being derived from B.macrophylla. The great forget-me-not, or Siberian bugloss is happier in shady spot, with reasonable moisture, but will cope with drier conditions. Full sun will likely scorch the foliage. Flowers, in open sprays, blue or white. Foliage, generally heart-shaped with different forms ranging through almost entirely silver, to cream variegation and spotted patterns.

The flowers are visited by smaller bees and bee-flies that are happy to forage under shade. Steps should be taken to avoid the plants escaping from gardens, as their dense, ground-cover foliage can eliminate native species from natural habitats.
