Callicarpa
Deciduous shrubs and small trees, often with good autumn foliage and clusters of brightly coloured fruits, lilac, pink or blue. Fruiting occurs more readily with more than one plant. Flowers, summer, in whorls, pink, white or purple. Can be pruned to a lower framework, or just lightly pruned in late winter to early spring.
