Camassia leichtlinii violet-blue form

This attractive mid-sized camassia produces a strong stemmed show. With a violet blue flower and being slightly reduced height it provides a pleasing complement to the taller Camassia leichtlini. Flowering earlier than most of our other camassias. The seed for this plant was originally acquired by Beth from Oregon in the USA, with mature bulbs being given to propagation team when an area of the Gravel Garden was replanted.
