A relatively new and exciting hybrid, bred in the USA by Darrell Probst. In spring are many sprays of large icy pink flowers, deepening to a darker pink-red towards the centre. The foliage should hold over winter, now mainly green, but the new foliage should emerge with splashed with various patterns of red to purple. Old leaves can be cut down in late winter, early spring, before new growth arises from the base.
