A glorious, sought after, perennial with upright stems covered in hundreds of star-shaped white flowers. A real statement plant in the herbaceous borders. When planting, spread the roots just below the soil surface, taking care not to break them when working around the plant later on. The foliage can be rather untidy, so grow amongst spreading geraniums, like Rozanne, Patricia and 'Orion'. Looks great with irises (pictured here with 'Benton Susan'), amsonia and asphodeline.
