Currently trialling on our sand bank, this umbel produces sulphur-yellow flowers in spring, above a low mound of green, ferny foliage. A native of the Balkans through to Greece and Sardinia. The species epithet, nodosa, highlights the exaggerated swollen nodes along the stem.
