The maple-shaped leaves vary in shade from amber to peachy bronze, on one side, but pink underneath, forming a sturdy semi-evergreen mound. Taller sprays of creamy brown flowers appear in the summer. Best grown in humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
