A charming miniature plant for a shady corner. A clump-forming perennial with hairy, lobed green leaves and slender spikes of tiny yellowish green flowers in late spring and summer.
We have sold this as M. breweri for many years, however it is likely to be be M. ovalis. Both are found in California, with M. ovalis more from the western side of the state and M. breweri from the eastern and southern side, but with ranges maybe overlapping in northern California. M. breweri is likely not in cultivation.
