This pretty late-summer plant has small pointed leaves on wiry stems topped with daintier heads of tiny pink flowers held in scaly purple bracts. Both this and O. 'Herrenhausen' plants are handsome additions to edge the dry border with blue grass (festucas) and thyme mats while O. 'Hopleys' is the prettiest to pick.
Origanum laevigatum 'Hopleys'
Oregano, marjoram
