An exotic looking perennial with whorls of bold green lanceolate leaves arching like umbrellas, terminating in a strange and complex flower made up of broad green sepals and dainty golden threadlike petals. Lime-green stamens radiate from the prominent maroon and black tinged green knob at the centre. In photo 3 shown growing with Hosta (Tardiana Group) 'Halcyon'.
Paris will take longer to flower from seed, than most perennials and we would like to ensure plants we sell have flowered with us, or are at a flowering age.
