A prairie perennial from central and eastern USA. Larger, oval, toothed leaves and in late spring through summer, flowerheads of quirky looking white flowers, somewhat reminiscent of anaphalis or asclepias. Adaptable to a range of conditions in its native environs, so should have some drought-tolerance.
