Splendid weed smotherer in rich soil. Attractive, deeply veined foliage, with buff reverse. Tall branching stems are a mass of pink heather-like flowers all late summer and autumn. Rooting from nodes in contact with the ground, but its relatively easy to pull out again. Synonym Persicaria campanulata.
