An evergreen perennial with glossy, scalloped edged foliage, which over summer produced a profusion of long-throated velvety-purple flowers, in narrow spikes. Native of Greece, Albania, so preferring a dry, sunny spot. Small enough for a rockery, trough or pot culture.
