Silene schafta 'Shell Pink'

Deserves to be more widely grown. Forms a low cushion of tangled stems set with small, pointed, hairy leaves, transformed in mid-late summer when smothered with pale pink flowers, whose widely spaced petals create a starry effect. Durable and hardy, for well-drained soil in sun.
