Is a delight in hot, dry, sunny situations. It overwinters as seedlings or as a mature woody framework bearing much divided aromatic leaves. In summer as conditions become drier, the leaves turn grey, as they become coated with fine grey hairs. By midsummer the plant erupts into a large bouquet of small, white, daisy-like flowers. Lovely scattered among purple and white campions, 'Achillea Moonshine' and other grey plants.
