From the mountains of Northern Burma and Western China. Magnificent large flowers, semi-double, clear shining yellow, with central ring of yellow stamens set off by bold healthy green foliage. Retentive, moist soil, sun. Later flowering waiting until June-July.
May also be known as T. buddae or T. kytmanovii.
