Uvularia

Merrybells...from the forests of Eastern North America. Elegant yet tough woodlanders making impressive early to emerge clumps quickly growing to produce arching stems of nodding yellow flowers. Will grow well on acid, humus rich soils

Both bumblebees and solitary bees will visit the flowers of Uvularia, although we have rarely noticed it in the garden: really, the delight of the species is its subtle, elegant form in a shady spot in spring.
