Vitis vinifera 'Spetchley Red'

Often grown for its wonderful autumn colour, this is a vigorous, non-clinging, woody vine which has an RHS Award of Garden Merit. Green summer leaves turn beautiful shades of glowing red in the autumn.  Panicles of small, fragrant, pale green flowers in early summer are followed by clusters of small, edible, sweet black fruits which are a bonus for wine makers
