An extra fine cobalt blue form selected by us. Also known as 'Chatto's Blue', 'Beth Chatto'.
Previously colours were not allowed in a cultivar name, so according to Wim Snoeijer he suggested the name should be changed to 'Beth Chatto'. Beth was not entirely enthused, 'What a mouthful and fairly meaningless!' was her response and thankfully rules have been changed, allowing colours to be used, hence the return to 'Cobalt Blue'.
