Smaller and more delicate than P. chrysophylla. A striking foliage plant, narrow, upstanding leaves covered with white wool. Clusters of lilac-pink, hooded flowers surround long stems at the internodes, in late summer. Needs an open, sunny, sheltered site, in well drained soil.
