This stunning new hybrid (between C. punctata and C. trachelium), introduced by Sarastro nursery in Austria. It has narrow, pleated navy-blue buds, which open silky violet-blue, in profusion during early summer. Great effect near yellow, i.e. the ribbon-like grass Hakonechloa macra 'Aureola'.
