An evergreen climber from South America. Good for scrambling through other shrubs, trees, trellis or up fences, producing red-orange tubular flowers over late spring through summer. Can be grown as an annual. Hardy in a sheltered position. Maybe completely cut back by winter temperatures, but can re-shoot from underground, or new seedlings may arise.
