New to us, an unusual evergreen hebe, with super glossy, gently serrated leaves. Masses of lilac flowers, in open panicles, during later spring. In our experience, late frosts can stop it flowering (they flower at the tips of growth), so if possible site in a sheltered, warm spot or grow in a pot. Slightly spreading in habit, minimal pruning after flowering to keep the shrub tidy. Synonym Hebe hulkeana.
