A less coarse grower than L. x clementii 'Rosea'. Has more upright growth, clothed in semi-evergreen, grey-green maple-shaped leaves, with smaller flat-faced flowers, about 5 cm across, held in spires. They are translucent, silk-textured pale lilac-blue, mid-late summer. Synonym Lavatera olbia 'Lilac Lady'.
