Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival – the plants!

Full drought resistant plant list

If you came to see Beth’s Drought Resistant Garden at Hampton Court this year, thank you. It was wonderful to be a part of it all and pay tribute to Beth in such a public, special way.

We have had many request for plant lists. The garden was fairly large at the festival, and so the plant list is extensive. If you would like a ready designed drought resistant border, we have a Hampton Court Plant Collection available which includes planting plan.

Where the plant name is highlighted in green, you should be able to click on it to the actual plant available from Beth’s nursery here. 90% of the plants we sell are grown onsite.

If the plant is out of stock, please do click to get reminded when they are back in stock as it can change from day to day.

Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival – the plants!

Comments (1)

Unfortunately I could not attend the show but I have been several times to Beth Chatto's Gardens in Essex. I used the dry garden, and Beth Chatto's Book "The Gravel Garden", as my inspiration for designing my front garden in Faversham, Kent. It has just been short-listed for the Faversham in Bloom Awards - an indication of how perceptions are changing as it is SO not the kind of garden that has previously been considered. So Beth's wonderful understanding of plants and habitats is percolating even to "In Bloom" competitions. Hurrah!!
