On Thursday 30th June, we welcomed Garden Designer and TV Presenter Adam Frost, who gave a talk at the Ivor Crewe lecture theatre at the University of Essex in support of the Beth Chatto Education Trust.
Adam Frost
Adam's talk was originally scheduled for June 2020 but was postponed because of the pandemic. It was certainly worth the wait!
Previous speakers at our annual lectures include Dan Pearson, Alan Titchmarsh and Christine Walkden. All of our speakers are patrons of the Beth Chatto Education Trust.

Here are some lovely comments we received following Adam's talk:
'I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our visit to the Nursery yesterday and how appreciative we were of Adam Frost's interesting, entertaining and emotive talk in the evening. We hope your charity benefited well from the excellent attendance. Thanks for all your organisation.'
'I just wish to thank you for the excellent evening with Adam Frost. It was a privilege to be at such an interesting, humorous and entertaining evening. Thank you so much.'
'I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the Adam Frost evening on 30th June. I found Adam's talk to be interesting, inspiring and most humorous. It was very generous of Adam to share such personal details of his life together with such wonderful horticultural triumphs and insights. I truly wish Adam and Mrs Frost every happiness in their new garden and home and eagerly await seeing the next garden that Adam creates for Chelsea. Having heard him speak I came away feeling pleased to have spent some time in a truly humble mans company and I am sure that both Beth and Geoff Hamilton would be truly proud of The Boy. Please pass on my sicere thanks to Adam and all the team at the Beth Chatto Gardens for arranging such a lovely evening.'
