On Thursday 21st September, we were delighted to be joined by friend and patron Carol Klein, for our annual lecture in support of the Beth Chatto Education Trust.

Carol spoke about her memories of Beth's time exhibiting at the Chelsea Flower Show and about how she was influenced by Beth's philosophy of right plant, right place.

Carol also took us on a walk through her recent Iconic Horticultural Hero garden at the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show; an area of which was designed, grown and planted by Emily, Åsa and Malin from the Beth Chatto team.

After staying overnight at the Gardens, Carol was here on Friday morning to enjoy the garden and to have a catch up with some of the garden team.

A huge thank you to Carol for speaking on the evening, and for all who came along and supported the Beth Chatto Education Trust.

Don't forget to keep an eye out for next year's lecture!

'I would just like to say thank you to all the team at Beth Chatto's for a super evening!

Carol Klein is an inspiration! I look forward to hearing about other events, etc.

Many thanks, Mrs Mears'
