An attractive small sub-shrub with large downy heart-shaped leaves and whorls of sulphur yellow flowers in summer. A good plant for a sunny bank in free-draining soil. A hybrid between P. fruiticosa and P. russeliana. Seen here in our gravel garden, growing with Erysimum 'Ruston Royal', Helichrysum italicum and stachys (lamb's ears).
