Koelreuteria

Small trees grown for the handsome pinnate foliage, masses of yellow flowers in summer, followed by intriguing inflated fruits. Grows better in the warmer parts of the UK and responds well to hotter summers. In the Sapindaceae family, also comprising acer (maples) and aesculus (horse chestnuts).
