Berlandiera

Plants from the steppe and plains of Central and Southern USA into Mexico. Yellow flowered, some smelling of chocolate, suitable for sunny sites on well-drained soils. The genus named after Jean-Louis Berlandier (1805-1851), French-Swiss botanist and physician, who collected plants from these areas.
