Erect stems clothed in aromatic leaves carry heads of lily-shaped flowers, soft mauve, veined purple. Curious, star-shaped seed pods are a bonus for dried flower arrangements. Caution, skin irritant in sunlight.
This PURPLE flowered species was previously sold as Dictamnus albus var. purpureus. The WHITE flowered form is now sold as Dictamnus albus var. albus.
