Newly planted in our recently renovated reservoir garden, this extraordinary perennial was collected by Mat Reese in Turkey. Bi-pinnate leaves, spread to form solid base, from which thick stems arise carrying large umbels of flowers, acid-green, sitting like flat plates. Very architectural. Synonym Prionosciadium thapsoides (although there is still some doubt about the correct name).
Think Dorema ammoniacum might have a misplaced decimal place. Or it’s rare as hens teeth
Dear Patrick It was indeed a misplaced decimal space and this has now been corrected.
