Polygonatum multiflorum

Distinct from P. x hybridum. Shorter, more upright stems hold leaves more closely set, standing upright on top side of slightly arched stems, to show wax-blue undersides. Beneath hang small cream, green tipped, bells followed by berries, at first dark bloom-coated green, finally almost black. Harmful if eaten.
