Usually two, dark, purplish-grey, wide curving leaves cradle a soft, pinky-beige flower head the size of an orange. Still effective in midsummer when it forms a good seed head. Best in groups.
Potted bulbs are sent from November onwards (once rooted), each pot containing one large flowering size bulb.
