Flowers similar in size and shape to C. persicifolia, blue, but many more and an upright spike, in autumn and maybe spring. Suitable for drier, coastal conditions. Short lived, but will reseed. Seen here growing in Oliver Filippi's nursery and garden in the South of France, but is hardy. Protect from excessive winter wet.
