Pachysandra procumbens

An American cousin of the Japanese spurge, but with softer foliage, low and spreading, making an attractive carpet. Older leaves often bronzing with age. Best on richer soils, in dappled shade where a profusion of white flowers can be produced in spring. Will tolerate dry shade once established.
